I don't see why you remove the abcm2ps binary in cleanconfig while you keep the *.o objects. |

The cleanconfig target runs the clean target first, and that takes care of deleting *.o |

The point here is to have an easy make target that nukes the directory down to the ground, allowing for a clean configure and rebuild.
